I'm a Clinical Psychologist who started Introspect Clinical Psychology as I'm passionate about creating a supportive space for people to explore their challenges without judgement. I want to support people to develop healthy coping mechanisms, and live a meaningful, authentic life.
I believe therapy should be individualised to each person’s specific treatment needs. I take a collaborative approach with clients to enable meaningful growth towards their goals. I believe people have inner wisdom to solve their problems, and find meaning and purpose within their lives, and I hope to help empower individuals with self-awareness and evidence-based skills to guide them towards reaching their goals. To do this, I aim to offer a safe, non-judgemental space, where people can feel heard, understood, and hopeful.

Mary has training in various Evidence Based Therapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).

Mary works with both individuals and couples. She treats people from 16 years of age to adulthood.
Treatment Areas
Mary has extensive experience working across private and public hospital settings and in private practice. Mary is experienced in the assessment and treatment of a range of presentations including:
- Stress and anxiety related disorders (Social Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder (with or without Agoraphobia), Specific Phobias, Health Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety Disorder).
- Depression
- Substance abuse
- Obsessive-compulsive related issues
- Interpersonal difficulties
- Grief and loss
- Emotional dysregulation
- Chronic pain
- Trauma related disorders (including Post traumatic Stress disorder)
